Approved by 38th Academic Council, dated 7th June 2024.
The Cancer Research Laboratory at Nagaland University was inaugurated on October 23,
2025, by the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jagadish Kumar Patnaik.
Established as an
in-vitro experimental unit, the facility was envisioned by Prof. Patnaik to drive cutting-edge
biomedical research.
It provides a environment for advanced studies in cancer biology, drug delivery, and drug
development - fostering scientific innovation across the region.
